Who is connected to the publisher

Action Global News is privately owned and published from Denver, Colorado, by Zach Wennstedt, its Publisher & Editor. As our ownership page explains, he also owns Eye To Ad Media and operates other marketing and technology businesses. The businesses below are the ones our own articles and announcements identify as connected to the publisher. When we write about any of them, the article says so at the top.

• Eye To Ad Media, a Denver marketing firm. Eye To Ad Media and Action Global News share ownership.
• Distribute Press Releases, the release-distribution service operated by Eye To Ad Media. Announcements on our press releases page are republished from it.
• PressReleaseForBusiness.com, a press-release publishing service that shares ownership with Action Global News.
• USABusinessSearch.com, a business directory that shares ownership with Action Global News.
• Aging Safely Baths, a walk-in tub and barrier-free shower supplier that shares ownership with Action Global News.
• World VR Mall and VR Flying Simulator, products operated by the same organization that publishes Action Global News.
• Local buy-sell-trade groups, including groups in the Omaha metropolitan area, administered by the publisher.

Separately, Elevation Health is a marketing client of the publisher’s agency. Articles that feature it are labeled Sponsored. Search Converts, listed under “Network” in our footer, is treated the same way for linking purposes.

The labels we use

From our network. The article features a business that shares ownership with the publisher. A box at the top of the article names the business and states the relationship.

Sponsored. The article or placement concerns a client of the publisher’s agency, or is paid for. The label appears on the article and on every card that links to it.

Press release. Pages under /press-releases/ are company announcements published in the company’s own words. They are provided by the company, are not written by the Action Global News newsroom, and publication here does not verify their claims. Each one says whether it is the operator’s own release or an affiliated release, and points to the original as its canonical source.

Advertisement. Display units in our side rails and between sections. House advertisements for businesses connected to the publisher carry a Sponsored flag.

Live headlines. Headline modules on desk pages show titles from other newsrooms’ public feeds, credited to the publisher and linked to the original. We do not reproduce their articles, and those headlines are not our reporting.

How links are marked

Every link from this site to a business listed above carries the rel="sponsored" attribute, wherever it appears: in articles, advertisements, announcements and the site footer. Links to other publishers in our source lists are ordinary citations.

Our own reporting

Articles without a label are written by Action Global News staff, cite their sources in the text and in a source list, and have no commercial connection to the subjects they cover.
